Modi: “Keşmir’deki Saldırıya İlişkin Değerlendirme”

According to ANI News, Modi, a guest on the radio program “Mann Ki Baat,” made evaluations regarding the attack in Jammu and Kashmir.

Modi argued that Jammu and Kashmir has grown in many areas from tourism to the education sector in recent years and provides opportunities for young people.

Modi noted that this situation disturbs “terrorists” who are not pleased with the arrival of peace in the region and want to destroy Kashmir again.

Expressing his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the attack, Modi promised the families of the victims that “justice will prevail.”

Tourists Killed

In the Pahalgam region of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, armed individuals opened fire on tourists on April 22, resulting in the deaths of 26 people and injuries to many others.

Accusing the perpetrators of coming “from Pakistan,” India suspended the “Indus Waters Treaty,” asked Pakistani secretaries based in New Delhi to leave the country within a week, and announced the suspension of visa services for Pakistani citizens, canceling all previously issued visas.

Pakistan, rejecting the accusations, restricted the number of Indian diplomatic personnel in Islamabad, declared that any interference in rivers beyond the “Indus Waters Treaty” would be considered a “cause for war,” suspended all trade with India, and closed its airspace.
